What’s so special about Oriental/Chinese medicine?

“Jing (精 Essence/ hormone) is the basis of the body, Qi governs the Shen (神 spirit) and Shape (形) is where the mind resides. Therefore, overuse leads to depletion and to maintain the form is to have Qi.” (Sentence from classical Chinese medicine textbook (Huang Di nei Jing)
Put this words simply in layman’s term our body needs Jing (精 Essence/ hormone), Qi (氣energy), Shen (神 spirit) and Shape (形) to work as a whole.

The beauty of Oriental medicine is that we assess the condition as whole. We can never have set protocol for each condition since we examine the patient’s whole biodynamic function and reason the cause of the problem.
Lower backache can’t only be due to muscle tensions or injury but can also be due to weakness in the meridian or coldness in the area.
For hay fever and allergies, we question why your body is reacting to these allergens in the first place.
For emotional problem, we overlook the whole-body function since many will agree on phrase “mind controls the body” but also in vice versa, if body cannot support the mind, mind goes astray. Great example for this is gut health since 2/3 of the happy hormone “serotonin” is made in the gut.

Our strengthen lies on finding the cause of the issue and correcting the imbalance that led to the cause.’For any further questions come and chat with us and we would love to share our knowledge with you.
