“How to overcome Hay fever naturally without antihistamine”

Hay fever season is back and this year its predicted to be worse than every due to high levels of pollen in the air and early start of spring season.

Firstly, hay fever is caused by an allergic response to a harmless outdoor or indoor substance the body identifies as harmful (allergen). It causes cold-like symptoms including runny nose, itchy eyes, congestion, sneezing and sinus pressure/ sinusitis.

So how can acupuncture & herb relieve hay fever?

There are 2 ways we can help with hay fever,

First to relieve the symptoms associate with the hay fever such as sinusitis, itchy eyes or runny nose.

Second is to treat to root (which is our treatment principle) which is to boost your immunity so you react less to external allergens.

Hay fever accompanies cold-like symptoms which can be hard to differentiate at times but the best way to notice the difference is the persistency of sneezing, runny nose or itchy eyes that worsen from morning till midday and subside around dawn and late afternoon since pollen levels peaks at noon and gradually fall.

“Acupuncture may help relieve the symptoms associated with hay fever”

Hay fever creates a lot of tension around the face with pressure around the eyes and sinus with constant headache.

Acupuncture may help relieve symptoms associated with hay fever and known to reduce sinus pressure effectively.

To extend the effect of treatment we would prescribe herb which will continue the effect of relieving symptoms of hay fever.

Once the acute symptoms has subsided, we can plan treatments around boosting your immunity to minimise onset of hay fever. Or can even prepare yourself before the start of spring to prevent onset of hay fever.

we pride ourselves in delivering effect and honest treatment so for any further inquiries please call us on 0404 807 583 or 0451 911 488 or email us on flowacupuncture.melb@gmail.com
